This is why Samsung suck s3 came with 4.0 and they stop it 4.3 . this is area is where Motorola strive since fall of 2011 with their high end devices from then in update just behind of course Apple and the Nexus line. HTC suck at update from 2011-13. We will see if they change their ways.


Droid RAZR m /HD and maxx HD came from 4.0.4 to 4.1.2 and skip to 4.4.2 is without rooting for users that hate on custom Roms or rooting .

Honestly, I would stay away from lg . the only reason their phones are getting development is because lg making the nexus. The minute Google cut them off their phones development will be like in early 2012 .Before Google nexus 4. Dead because that the same issue Sony have with their xperia line.

Well Motorola probably moto x+1 or the droid line from 2014. I wish they can make phablet. As much as some of these users hate Motorola . They like modification phones and yet pick device for it specs with some android development. Lg not only they replace lg g2 with lg g2 flex in 2 month . they did the same with lg g pro 2.

Lg is doing the same mistake Motorola did in early 2011 releasing to many phones.
Before Motorola got purchase by Google that summer started releasing 3 device per year since.

For the world Motorola only release two device per year since 2013 moto g and x.

Lg g2,lg g flex,lg g2 pro,lg g2 mini and lg tab 8 inches.

To many device in my opinion.

Sony and Samsung are as bad in release to many devices since 2010.

Htc stop that in 2013. Motorola stop that in late 2011.

If you aren't into rooting go with lg and don't seem to care about update.

If you care about rooting and update stay with Motorola or HTC .

So then if I choose to stay with Moto what is your suggestion

Sprint is currently rolling out Kitkat on the S3 as we speak and is supposed to be rolling it out on the other carriers in the next couple months. The International 3G version of the S3 will not be receiving KitKat.
(of course, Verizon users don't hold your breath!) lol
