Idk about they stop s3 from updating kitkit because of 1 GB in Europe and asia. Bs yet Motorola is updating their droid line with 1 GB devices from 2012.

Sprint is currently rolling out Kitkat on the S3 as we speak and is supposed to be rolling it out on the other carriers in the next couple months. The International 3G version of the S3 will not be receiving KitKat.

No I care about root and updates that's why I'm considering leaving Moto...but I'm wondering if Verizon isn't the bigger problem but all that helps with decision making...I'm still thinking the M8 might still be an option though

Since htc said their updating for 2 years . the m8 is probably your best option. I'm with att and their signal is spotty in skyscraper in NYC .

I have no issue with the device and this time around I'm not going to upgrade like last year. I love my moto x.

I still honestly don't trust htc. I have droid DNA and their update on that device wasn't bad. They actually treating it like htc one .

But they screwed customers from the HTC one s and x in update in 2012. Motorola at least is honoring their word on kitkit. On their droid line 2012 and atrix HD. htc one s owners are stuck 4.1.2 Os and 4.2.2 os for htc one x , X+ and htc one vx users.

And that's all good news...so its just getting touchy feely with both
