Hmm, for some reason the Arco closest to me isn't listed as Top Tier. Well according to the Gas Buddy app it isn't. The next closest one is listed Top Tier though.
Since they only run these triple rewards programs about every 2-3 months, using my Giant Gas Rewards Points, I buy and store the gas in two 275 gallon tanks on my property. Then I have it as I need it.
You sir, put my bunkering of 550 gallons to shame! Whoa! [emoji4] [emoji106]

I know a guy up the bayou that does that as well. He has an electrical gas pump connected to the tank just like at the gas station. He doesn't do rewards points though and if his truck ever needs mechanic work done he will be in trouble. The mechanics report dyed diesel in personal vehicles to the DOT since dyed diesel is not taxed.
We bunkered 400k since it is a new vessel that was just sea trailed and it is heading to Australia (without me, thankfully). I will be departing once the dynamic positioning system has passed commissioning.
Shell just took over the BP station on exit 7 and the gas prices went up 20 cents there overnight. When I get back to town I will have to find a different place to fill up.

Well I'm running gasoline in my F-150. I haven't graduated to diesel power yet, but my next truck likely will be diesel, maybe an F-250 if they make a platinum version. [emoji4]
I know about the road tax on diesel and that home heating oil or #2 diesel is for off-road only. I know a tractor trailer driver who uses #2 in his tractor... He's taking big risks because the state police will dip tanks at the weigh stations and it could signal the end for him.

I didn't know. I was curious to see if the in town prices were better than those out here on the west side. They seem to be about the same so the 15 minute drive wouldn't be worth it for me.
But please help me to put it into perspective. What are the average incomes (USD), total housing expenses (rent or mortgage), typical car gas mileage (MPG or KmPG), and the average distances traveled in a typical day? I mean please correct me if I'm wrong but aren't things in communities relatively close together there as opposed to here in the US? For instance I drive 30, minutes (20 miles), each way to work.
