Yeah I kinda agree. I still want the Gnex but after reading the review I'm beginning to wonder about a couple of things. I have never owned a Samsung phone before but it sounds like the build quality is a bit mediocre and that the battery life is okay (but nothing stellar). And it sort of sound like that maybe the Razr will be really great once it has ICS (ICS+call quality+moto build).
But then again maybe I'm just trippin over the small stuff. IMO getting this phone over the Razr is a no-brainer but I can't help but be a little paranoid... :icon_eek:
Yea... the reviewer didn't seem overly pleased with it. I've held the droid charge and the galaxy s2 and I don't remember them having an overly plastic-y feeling although maybe I'm just not as picky as this specific reviewer is.
P3 is mainly into Motorola so I would take some of those comments with a grain of salt. The battery part does bother me since I am getting just about that on my OG droid right now. I am pretty sure I can live with it while it's the next best thing but it might be harder to deal with next year when there are better options that last all day. I wonder if they will sell cheaper non NFC extended batteries? Those batteries will be pocket breaking and hard to justify.
The review was great, just cause he didn't mark the phone with A+s doesn't mean the review wasnt great, now the phone, didn't sound as promising to me as I was hoping. Wether a moto fanboy or not he is right about the build quality and call quality.
Either way I believe it will be a nice phone just glad it sounded like a more truthful review and not one saying the phone is the greatest known thing and when we all get it we see the problems and are dissapointed with it.
I will admit I've owned only moto devices and the comments about voice and build quality left me a little disappointed but I will still be giving this phone a fair trial. As far as ICS its not really a dealbreaker for me and I'm on the fence about the ui appearance atm. Battery life I presume will be stellar once we have custom roms and best of all KERNALS!!!
