Just to clarify the confusion.

Google Earth will run on devices running 2.1 and Motorola Droids that have root access.

If anyone gets it running on stock 2.0.1 post up and let us know. It may work.......

Woah I've noticed temp going upusing earth. Also freezes alotl screen gets stuck. I'm overclocked at 1100 too

2.0.1 here also but at 800mhz...running smooth.

Im running BB 1.0 and it just downloaded and installed in the market for me. Runs good and fast over WIFI.

I'm running BB7.5, but I edited my build.prop so I could dl live wallpapaers, and it's showing up for me. (used root explorer text editor to change ro.build.version.sdk=6 to ro.build.version.sdk=7)

It doesn't site up for SmokedGlass v4.5 either. I thought I read somewhere that you could trick the market into showing 2.1 apps when you're running a 2.0.1 rom. I just can't remember where.

Works for me with DroidMod 1.0. I didn't try searching for it - I just went to my list of installed app,s went to google maps, then clicked to view all applications by that dev.

Installed quickly and works well.
