How long do buzzes hang out for?

IE how long does one stay available on a map? Like if someone buzzes about a party, will it still be there 3 days later?

I THINK strongly on the think part it stays there until you delete it yourself or post something else

I forgot I had set up Gtalk as I don't use it and I did buzz from my house so that makes sense.

Wasn't there some mention of this update including starring/syncing of saved locations?? Coulda swore I read this in the little popup window when I loaded maps after the updated. Has anybody figured this out yet?

See..someone posting, "going out for dinner" now creates a marker over that empty house that is waiting to be robbed. It's one thing when folks post things on Facebook, its another to leave breadcrumbs in real time on a map. Now we just need to add in the ability to search Buzzes to let some real trouble begin.

From now on my buzzes will be:

Going out for dinner... Left my 80 pound German Shepard and 60 pound Husky at home.

well it said it has Buzz, and i think the bigger one is the night time navigation, so you know the screen gets dark at night

How do you get the night vision screen to come up?

Is it a setting? I figured it would be in layers but its not.

Night mode turns on automatically after a certain hour, dont know exactly when that is. Probably 7 ish.

Interesting, I was just tinkering with my Droid trying to turn on night mode

No 'momentum' when sliding map? Anyone notice that when you drag the map around it stops immediately when you let go? It used to continue drifting for a bit after you let up.

Why would anyone buzz that, lol
the concept isnt new.. its like Loopt or Latitude
Just buzz/post where ever you are at that's interesting or need to know something
