Google Maps w/ Multi-Touch Ported to DROID

I love the site, but all the links are down.. can someone pm the links, and I'll rehost them.

You guys havent yet check out the labs on this version, more goodies have been added .... :)

My Maps, didnt give me an error, just said couldnt find, which indicates to me that I havent yet made any.

I like it!

Now if they port the new nav over with night mode.

Just a note to those that want to use the new version of Navigation, it isn't showing me the street names or next turn direction for some reason.

An alldroid poster stated that he believes this APK is from a UK version that will not work for Nav, that may be part of reason it says unnamed road ...

BTW, I figured out this is the nav that comes with it that has night mode... duh.

So to me that would confirm it may be a non US ported version. Time will tell.

UPDATE!! No need to use this hack version... the real official 3.4 update is now on the Market!!!

Ahh, you beat me to it ..... :icon_ devil:

But I'll start a new thread so the masses can see.

(Plasced in applications section)

I CAN confirm this is the same, now we wont have the unnamed roads issue, and still have MT and night mode.

Oh the Goodness!

the version i see in the market is 3.3.1 and no update option.

never mind, i work in a bldg that has bad reception, as soon as i stepped outside i got a update notice for GM.

This is still not a great version, need to get this working in more of a fluid motion. This has predefined values of where you can zoom into, unlike the iphone which you could set your zoom to what ever you wanted to. this update isn't really much of an improvement. Might as well use the soft buttons or double-tap

Works great for me. This is not the iPhone. Thanks.
