Google Voice

Hey all, I purchased my invite off Ebay for 2 bucks. I am setup and working! My question is where are people getting the invites to share? Will Google give me invites to share on here or how does that work. I know my Gmail account has always had a place where I could send invites but I don't see anything like that on my Google Voice home screen.
Thanks.

after you use GV for a while, you get random invites to give out, as for buying one on ebay, i wouldnt be so inclined to do that... you can sign up on googles page and periodically they send out waves of acceptances.

Lol, they haven't been waiving lately, I waited for almost 2 months before I decided I could make up the $2.00 difference in about 5 minutes of phone calls to China or Honduras.. But as soon as I start getting invites to share, this will be the first place I post them.
Thanks for the info...

I didn't know they stopped giving them out, that is no good, 2 buck isn't anything, I have seen them for 45 bucks, ect. I heard that Google is having a hard time keeping up with the demands for this service and is unable to provide uses with the area code of their county, were you able to get a local area code for yourself?

Yes, I was able to get my area code and actually a exchange for my city, which was good, when I signed up for Vonage years ago I had to get a exchange for a neighboring city. I will keep everyone informed about my experiences with Google voice!
