Google Wallet Update

I added a new card to Google wallet and I can't seem to figure out how to add funds. When I go to my prepaid card it says my funds and to the right it has button to Add Funds. New Card has no balance and doesn't have button that says add funds. Anyone know what to do?

They have discontinued the prepaid card in lieu for your own credit cards.

Yes, I know and added a new card but I can't seem to add funds to new card. The option to add funds isn't available.

I don't think I understand...you are using a prepaid card that is NOT the Google prepaid card right? If so, why would you need to add funds from the app? Why don't you just call the number on the back of the card to add funds? If you are using a Google prepaid card you can no longer add funds because the card has been discontinued.

OK. Now I think I don't understand. Google is stopping prepaid google wallet card. I got that.

So I added new credit card to Google wallet. When I go to that card, i dont see an option to add funds like i was able to with the prepaid card .

I dont know if i explained myself any better but i just dont see any add funds button. I had that option with the prepaid card.

I don't know what to do.

And on top of that, how would calling my credit card company help in any way? I don't think they would be able to add funds to wallet by me telling them to add funds to wallet. I would assume they would just ask how they are supposed to know Google wallet.

* damn it. I feel so confused.

Am I missing something? Has anyone else added a new card to Google wallet and be successful at adding funds.

I love my Google wallet and just want to keep using it.

What kind of card are you trying to add?...if its something like a Visa or MasterCard you don't have to add funds. It functions just like a credit card would. If and only if you are using a prepaid credit card would you ever need to add funds.

Yes your missing it for sure. Let me try to explain........

You have a credit card if back issues open line of credit just add and use wallet.

If you have one of those pre paid cards you can still add it to wallet but you would add funds just like you would do without using wallet.

If you have a debt card from your back that is also a"credit card" linked to your checking about just added and deposit funds needed to your checking account.

I hope this explains it better.

OK. I think I gots it now.

So I don't have to add funds because it is not a prepaid card. As long as I have available credit on my card or money in my checking account it will just get billed.

A little bit of help, please. Kinda new to this.

Just got a Galaxy Nexus, and tried to pay for something with NFC and it says "Contactless Payment not available on this card" at the register. I thought Google Wallet took care of that, or am I doing something wrong?

not sure on that error is that something that popped up on the phone or register? Did the store support nfc? There is an application in the shop store that you can see which places support paying this way.

Popped up on the store pinpad device. It was Best Buy, so yea, they take NFC.
