GPS not searching for signal

Well after wiping cache partition and rebooting this morning, the gps has been working great all day. Everytime I enable gps and then click on maps it immediately locks in. Ill update over the course of the next couple days too and see if it continues to work. Fixing without rooting for me would be ideal.

Just wanted to update for anyone else having this problem... its now been three or four days since I wiped cache partition and the gps has been working flawlessly. Every now and again ill turn gps on and open maps and it locks in right away.
