Yea mine also hung so I went to take a dump and when I came back it booted.
I know the program says it's for d2, but it's worth a try i guess. The one thing I noticed is that I had to Redownload DroidForums for some reason and when I go to edit a post now it won't let me. This only happened after I ran this program. Correlation? Not sure

In the instructions it stated that it was built for the D2 and to use it on other devices at your own risk. And since it includes a root and unroot exploit too I would caution against it.
My droid forums app works fine.

looks like it worked on my droid 2 global
before was ~.98Mbps now getting 1.75Mbps down

Just dont run the root exploits and you will be fine, then again, the root method is the same for the D2 and D2G and I assume the DX, so it shouldnt hurt even if you did. Regardless when you run the app it gives you the option to just get uncapped.
If it was going to brick your phone there would be reports by now.
As for getting un-throttled, I saw a negative impact on my speedtest results. Overall speed is the same but in terms of steady speed, it actually decreased significantly. Maybe I will try the hack again.
EDIT: I ran one more speedtest and now I am seeing a download increase of about 200kbps. This is still over 1 whole Mbps slower then ATT with a weak 700Mhz(when OCed) out of date CPU.

I am unsure atm. If you would do me a favor and search the internal storage(all of it) for a file or folder called classout. I suspect this is a long shoot, but I see there are 4 bat files in the zip. ClassoutAndUnthrottle.bat, delclassout.bat, doroot.bat and dounroot.bat. The exe gives you 4 options. Unthrottle, root, root and unthrottle, and unroot. So my best guess is that delclassout.bat is for the unthrottle hack. The contents of the bat simply says del classout. So that is all I can come up with. If by chance you can find "classout" I would say just back it up and your good to go.
