Halloween Double-Special - SS 4.9 and SSX 1.0!!

Love your rom. I'm having an issue with my email accounts, gmail works fine but my exchange and pop3 accounts don't show up in my messaging icon. I load them up and the it shows an email being delivered but wn I click the email icon it goes back to homescreen. It won;t let me delete and ref'dady sbe alreload either, I have to do a clean install. I've already sbf'd with the 450mb sbf file.

Which email app are you using? The only one on my ROM is BlurEmail.apk - I assume that's what you are using?

Have you tried the AOSP Email:

ok - try the apk I linked up and get back to me ... push to /system/app, and it will show up in your app drawer

I went to root explorer and found 2 email apk's. 1 said blur email apk and the other blur apk bak. I canged the blur apk bak to just blur apk. Now there are 2 blur apk files, 1 from november and 1 from august. But my email seems to be working.

If you are already running SSX - just take the apk and push to /system/app - that is it!

OK I am officially confused - I do see what you are referring to - but if you renamed BlurEmail.apk.bak to BlurEmail.apk - that would overwrite the existing one that is BlurEmail.apk - if that is what happened, you should only see one now. Is that the case?

Also - my update.zip does NOT clear out /system - so I suspect that the BlurEmail.apk you had sitting there is definitely old.

Loving the rom, only problem I'm having is not being able to access ChevyNo1 Tools, everytime I try to access it, an error says Only for use on SS roms?

It doesn't really bother me as I have it customized the way I want, so if it's supposed to be inaccessible for DX just let me know.

Something you have installed has messed with your build.prop - I don't know why ANYONE would mess with it, unless it is a full ROM. But that is what happened. You can run rstprop from terminal to set it back - just wondering what they changed!

Probably - I am going to have to make my update.zip work just like it did with the D1 - BLOW AWAY /system. Not doing that has apparently caused several issues with old crap laying around.

Ohhh then that's my fault >.> my bad, I changed the lcd density or w/e in it, tyvm for the fast support!
