Hi Chevy,
First let me say how much I love this rom and how I look forward to more in the future. I recently installed Black Glass and when I tried to go into your tools it showed an error saying it could only be used with your roms. I know this has been covered before but can you please explain it one more time.

Yep - black glass messed with your build.prop (still not understanding why a theme would have to touch it). Try entering a terminal, and typing:

rstprop

Then reboot - that SHOULD fix it.

TAKE the blackglass theme replace BLACK GLASS BUILD.PROP WITH CHEVYS AND REINSTALL I SWEAR IT WILL WORK I HAD THAT SMA EISSUE AND NO MORE AND IT DOESNT DO NOTHING TO THE THEME .

AS A MATTER AOF FACT IM ABOUT TO POST PICTURES OF WHAT I MADE / USING CHEVYS ROM / LIQUID FROZENYOGURT 1.7 FROM DROID 1 / 928BLACKGLASS THEME
ALL CREDIT GOES TO THEM I JUST PICKED AND CHOSED WHAT I WANTED AND COMPLIED TOGETHER , WELL MAYBE SOME COLOR EDITING TOO ...

SO YES REPLACE THE THEME BUILD.PROP FILE N PUT IN THE CHEVY ROM BUILD.PROP IN THE THEME ZIP AND REINSTALL I PROMISE YOU IT WILL WORK

Will give it a try ecen though I do not know if this is ahead of wnere I am in skills. I mean I can edit black glass with 7zip. Can you give me the steps do not want to mess it up. Sti a noob at heart lol.

for the volume bar progress bar all i did was take out the progress_horizontal.xml file out of the 928blackglass theme and put in the xml file off a DROID 1 that already had the blue volume bar n progress . it worked off of a droid 1 with no problems . i got it from LIQUIDS BLUEBERRY theme .
that file is the progress_horizontal.xml swap them and your good .

and for those ppl trying to use the CHEVY ROM with 928BLACKGLASS
TAKE the buildprop out of the 928's theme and install the theme with CHEVYS BUILD PROP in the theme and youll have no issues opening his CHEVY TOOLS NOR DEV TOOLS . although I dont know what to do with either of those I wanted them to work . lol

im a noob too and scared to use terminal / and pushing stuff through adb and all this other tech stuff so

open your black glasss theme up with 7zip / then open up the zip of CHEVYS ROM with 7zip also .

have them side by side take and drag chevys build over to 928 theme to overwrite the one thats in there with CHEVYS close it hit ok to archive the file , and reinstall the theme as you would any other from reboot on you sd choose the zip n install from zip you are done

Thanks very much for your all help. GREAT job on yours and that is the look I am hoping for because I love the blue. Any chance of you offering a zip of yours, with the builders permissions of course. But I am going to still work on mine and hope to have drocaps soon.

however with the moving imgs which are .9.png files you edit them in photo shop but you have to compile it with a different program cause those images actually stretch so they are a bit different from the others that you can just swap out .
Xultimate is the programs name . http://www.droidforums.net/forum/xeudoxus/47283-release-xultimate.html this is where i got it from and theres 2 versions 64 bit n 32 bit
-xUltimate Draw9Patch Compiler x64 v1.0 thats what you want to complie the .9.png files correctly
so did you swap the builds like i said n reinstall the theme , i know for a fact that should work

yes all you have to do is open them both and then drag chevys build into the blackglass theme zip and it will overwrite . And yes reinstall the same way you would any theme . Boom youre done

Did the build prop exchange and I now have Chevy's tools menu. Thanks again RK for the help. Next project to replace black glass title for simply stunning or maybe something custom.
In my opinion this is the top DX rom . Thanks Chevy

I haven't seen much other than the usual tweaks of wifi-scan, LCD density, etc. Are there others?

Changing the setscaling settings. Undervolting/underclocking (although I just remembered your tools have an overclock setting on them. Which funny is always on even when I'm underclocked haha) but it seems to be help battery life a pretty good amount. Currently at ultra low voltage, 8 or 900mhz. No problems so far, and still seems fast to me.
