Here's another question for Handcent. Is there anyway to get the LED notification to stay on constantly after receiving a text? Instead of just having it flash on and off.

Settings > Notification Settings > Notification settings > LED flash frequency
Then select custom, and under "Time off" place the number value to 0. You can leave the Time on value as it is. Maybe it'll work

Tried that already, no dice. The handcent forum is pretty much useless. Some guy asked the same question in October of 2010 and nobody answered. Figured I'd give it a shot here.

That's really weird, is there anything else that you changed in the settings somewhere? Maybe try changing the color of the LED? I have the pop up disabled, and I have reminders disabled, maybe that helps? Lol hook me up with the LG Optimus 2x and you gotta deal
I'm running Liberty, I doubt that would be it though. Maybe try uninstalling and reinstalling Handcent if the color thing doesn't work? Just making sure, you have notifications from the stock messaging app off right? I'm pretty sure you already do lol
Yup, turned off the stock messaging app. The thing is, there isn't even an option within Handcent to make the LED notification stay on steady. It's either blinking or not at all. So I wonder if it's a glitch within the app itself? I say this, because with BB, I didn't have to mess with the time on and time off of the LED flash frequency.
Well I'm still trying to figure out why changing the Time off to 0 in flash frequency worked for me and didn't for you. I've never ran BB, I have a Droid 2 never owned a D1, so I have no idea how that ROM works lol
Yeah, I'm stumped. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it. Tried everything again and can't get it to stay on constantly. I posted the question in Chevy's section of the forum to see if he can help out. Wish me luck!
