Having An Issue With 2.1 - Come In Here

Ive been running 2.1 for a couple hours now issue free. Maybe some third party apps are giving people issues. I used other browsers in the past because of pinch zoom but woth this update stock browser is perfect.

For what it is i am very pleased and my phone overall seems to be running very smooth

The Live Wallpaper seems to be doing something strange to my home screens - three times now I've used the unlock screen only to find most of the shortcuts and widgets missing. One or two will still be there but everything else is invisible. Rebooting fixes it but it just happens again shortly after. Changed off of Live Wallpaper to a static one and it hasn't happened again since.

Why doesn't the Amazon MP3 Store app stay closed? Every time I open up TaskPanel, it's always there even after I previously killed it.

For me at least it seems like the Live Wallpapers hog the CPU quite a bit. I've had a couple of instances where after unlock, the three widgets on the middle screen would not be displayed, but eventually progressively showed after a few seconds.

I've switched to a static background for now until a custom ROM comes out with what I'm looking for.

not sure if anyone noticed..im using the stock sms app and gmail and whenever email/sms comes in when the phone is NOT asleep it doesnt do the LED blink, but when its asleep it blinks now..

I thought something was wrong with my phone until someone mentioned this earlier.

so basically..what happened is part of the 2.1-update1..well..it does seem reasonable since we are looking at the phone when a text/gmail arrives.and when we are not looking it blinks...hmmm.. correct me if im wrong.

seems to be a "feature" of 2.1

Stands to reason though. If your display is on you can visually see it.

Saves a small amount of juice I suppose : )

Yup, it does make sense.

This is no problem but i was just wondering if anyone also noticed that when powering off the phone..it also makes the "Droid" sound now...never noticed it before till this update. and just to clarify things..is it still possible to get the OTA notification update?
