Help getting RSD to detect phone

I need to SBF a phone to send back to verizon then SBF another phone to update to .340 and install the newest rubix.

I've SBF'ed before. but for the life of me can't get RSD 4.7 to see the phone on windows xp or 7. and on my xp machine i can't get 4.8 to install. it keeps giving me an error. I am in boot loader and not recovery. any ideas would be great.

I have the SBF's I need. the 2.3.15 for the 30.3 bootloader phone going back to verizon and the 2.3.32 full for the other phone that came with 2.3.151 and 30.04 bootloader.

I'm having issues getting RSD lite to see my phone. I've tried on XP and windows 7.

I was hoping you had some suggestions to try that I may have over looked.
