Help out a noob in over his head ??

You have rsd open when you plug your phone in right? And when you get rsb to see your phone it will look like the screen shot I posted. Then press to ... button and select that .sbf file an run it. Very important to not interupt it while its flashing or you will brick your phone. Good luck ill check back with you tomarrow. Pm me if you need anything else

couldn't get the phone to charge at all last night, when I connect it to the charger, the yellow fist comes up...Have it hooked up to the usb of my laptop now, that seems to be working, si i will hopefully be able to try and run rsd again when i get home from work in a couple hours....

no luck charging battery today....I brought my batteries over to a friend's house who has a D2 , he is going to use his phone/charger to charger both my batts and get them back to me in the AM.... :(

Well after that you should be good. Its the only reason I can think of that RSD didn't see your phone. It was in bootloader mode you should be good to go.

new batteries- Check!
Phone showing up in RSDlite- CHECK!
SBF installed- NO CHECK! :(

got an error msg :
"Failed flashing process Interface AP-OS: error flashing subscriber unit. Device API error 0XE0030009 Address:0XBDFCD400 Command ADDR (0xE0231009); phone disconnected"

I did not disconnect the phone at all from the usb.... I imagine I would need to wipe everything and try again?

I will probably try to do that in the AM, I have a backup phone up and running for the time being, so I think I am gonna get some shuteye tonite and attack it again tomorrow...

after quick battery pull, phone came back up in bootloader, with another line saying "code corrupt" ... definitely putting the phone down till tomorrow AM now, lol

seems to be stuck in bootloader, I can't get to to recovery to wipe anything, but trying to do the SBF again now...

Looks like I got it! RSD told me to manually power up phone, I get droid welcome screen now, asks me to activate the phone....just worried that if I activate it, and it is still jacked up I will SOL and wont be able to use the phone I am using now (a buddy's incredible 2)....

Nope activate it. Your good to go now. Sbf is a complete reload of the os from verizon specs. Glad you got it
