Help, stuck in bootloader

So I was given this phone, I have no idea exactly what was done, but I don know someone tried to flash a custom rom on it as it had a custom recovery. I'm stuck on the bootloader screen, but can boot to recovery and flash roms, nandroids, etc. I just can't get it to boot past the bootloader. I've tried flashing with RSD lite back to a factory image but get the following message.

So, can anyone help me get past this?

Try making sure that you have the appropriate drivers installed.

Yeah, all the drivers are installed, the driver pack came with the files I have. I found the 4.2 drivers on this site, but it says the ones I have are newer. Maybe that's the issue?

Edit: Nope, downgraded my drivers from 4.6 to 4.2, still a no go. When the phone reboots, it goes right back to recovery mode. And this is after it says software update complete. So it's a little strange.
