HELP!

Im stuck on stock 2.0.1 I have the update zip from another source renamed as update. Tried renaming update.zip

As soon as I get into the recovery mode the error message E:Can't open /cache/recovery/command is showing and I can move my selection up and down and press the camera button to select everything but nothing makes any difference.

On the directions I was using it says I will probably get that error but the installation will continue.

Mine does not and it doesnt let me select anything what should I do?

Check your computer system.... If you are running Windows 7, XP, or Vista name the file "update" only. Do not put .zip on the name as the above three systems automatically puts the .zip I bet that when you renamed the file "update.zip" the computer put the extension on and your phone is seeing update.zip.zip which then throws up the error. Try renaming the file to just "update" put it on the sd card and try to install again. I am certain it will work.
