Holy moly! Please tell me someone can get this to work!

Hmmm. I think the problem is that it tries to update the Play Store before you get a chance to do it. I'm not sure. Try doing it while in airplane mode so it doesn't try to update the Play Store and see what it does. If it goes right, then you'll need to freeze the updater apk so it doesn't update. I'm not sure what it's called.

Then you'll need to freeze the updater with TiBu. It will have either "vending," "updater," or "upgrader" in the name. It'll keep the market from updating.

Used Tibu to freeze these two
But it didn't help.

Why is the door on the right always locked?

Just spoke with a buddy of mine, apparently there's a possibility you have to be deodexed to run this.

Well, if that's the case then that explains it. Are you running the stock ROM?

Same thing on my Droid x also. Force close city. :(

Why do we have to hack the phone to get back something that should never have been deleted in the first place. Alright I'm done venting.

Ask Moto and Verizon. They are the masters of buzzkill.

I just don't get why Google pulled it out of the market to begin with. It doesn't make sense to me.
