Home ++ (another home replacement)

Am I a complete idiot, how do I install the home++ beta, I am updated/rooted but can not figure out how to install?

yeah the dolphin bookmarks are not working for me it looks like it looks for it then gives up

Bookmarks dont work on Dolphin regardless if you select it.

You guys have to go into the Preferences and click "Use Dolphin Bookmarks"

How do you switch between Home++ and the stock Home? I read there was a way to easily do that by pressing something but can't remember.

Bookmarks dont work on Dolphin regardless if you select it.

You guys have to go into the Preferences and click "Use Dolphin Bookmarks"

It works for me. I thought it was glitching caused I would see blank favorites but it was actually seperating my dolphin favorites n my stock browser favorites.

Does anyone notice that sometimes (when using Home++) you have to press the Home key more than once to get back to the home screen? Especially when trying to leave Chomp, I'll press home and nothing happens. I'll press it again and it'll finally head back.

Has anyone else noticed widgets often do not update? It seems since the past few updates, all of my homescreen widgets stop refreshing after a time.
(ie Beautiful Home displays 12:01 right now when it's 12:10; and the MotoTorch LED icon does not light-up when activated)
The only fix I've found is to restart the phone (LAAAAME)
Anyone else with the same problem? And what working fixes have you found?

Try using a program which allows you to quit programs, such as Advanced Task Killer, and quit out of Home++ instead of restarting your phone.

When you hit the home button, Home ++ will restart, and the widgets will correct themselves.

Easier then shutting your phone off completely!

It is easier but task killers are not needed. The OS has a task manager built in... no need to download a 3rd party app. Menu > settings > applications > manage applications....

Home ++ actually allows you to put a button on your power bar at the bottom allowing you to see what is running. Long press on any of them, and you can do quite a few things with them, switch to, terminate, uninstall...and a few others. Pretty slick button to have down there imo.

I noticed that my mototorch has a delay now when hitting it when before it was instant.

However I do have alot of widgets running and they do bog down the system. I find if you delete some unneeded widgets it will speed things up.

You should not have to restart the program for the clock to work!
I uninstalled it.
