How do I bloody unroot? Trying to warranty my device

@xythil, there are ways to unroot your phone without using the very finicky RSD Lite.

+1 for the sbf. it really isnt as scary as one may think.

yea until rsd decides that it is going to fail and not reboot your device for 10 minutes making you freak out for what feels like an eternity:icon_eek: but all is good now

You will have to remove su and SUperuser.apk. You can unroot through droidmod updater 12 or sbf.

There is an update.zip file to unroot as well. I did this a few weeks ago to send back my broken droid1. Worked perfectly. Here it is.....

Does this wipe your data/apps?

No, it simply breaks root and updates you to the latest version of Android 2.2 for the Droid 1.
