How do I get rid of all of these synched contacts from Facebook?

I accidentally synched them and now have 300 people in my contacts, most with no number even. It wont let me delete them either, says they can only be hidden. How can I clean up my contacts? I already un synched FB but the contacts remain.

Go into your Contact list & hit the soft menu key. There, under Display Options, will be a check box for "Only Contacts with Phones".
