How do (will) you carry / wear your Droid X?

Bent over to check something in our pond and that is exactly where my phone was. Emphasis on was. This was back a couple years ago with a flip phone. It stayed lit up with it's nice blue color until I fished it out and yanked the battery. That was the last time that phone ever ran.

My moto-droid is in my front left jeans (and other pants) pocket with nothing else. No issues with it getting hurt. Had it since 11/2009.

To me a case would just add to the size. I'm happy enough with it just as it is. No screen protector or anything. I don't think the droid x would cause a problem size wise either.

I am planning on picking up a Seidio case, really like how it holds the face towards you and away from danger.

They posted that they planned on shipping them somewhere between the 20th and 25th of this month.

I think Seidio is the manufacturer that has a dock that will work with a hard case attached.

Been carring phones in my shirt pockets for 12 years. My work uniforms are button up shirts with pockets. I've never dropped my phone out of my pocket once. I've had an Omnia for two years now with no case and other than a few small scratches on the battery cover it looks new.

Picking up an Otterbox because I am heading out camping two days after I get my X, plan on getting a Seidio for day to day activities when they come out.

I think I'm going to buy the cheapest case VZW has tomorrow (as long as it isn't pink or something LOL) and then buy an Otterbox or Seidio case once they release them. I loved my Otterbox Commuter for my Droid.

I also bought a Protective Case for the phone, but I think it affected the phone's functionality. The phone seemed to be less responsive and the camera stopped working. I had on issues with it until I put the case on. I took the case off and the battery was very warm. I don't think the rubber cover allows the battery to breath properly thereby affecting the phone's performance. Now the phone is working fine. Just be wary of certain protective cases. Bought mine from CheapDroids.com. I think it's just a flaw in the case design. No biggie. The screen protector works well.

With a sticky cover so it won't slide out, and in a free pocket so it doesn't get scratched.like every other smartphone I've ever had.

+1 for bareback in the front left pocket. Keys, cigs and zippo in right, wallet in back.... I have huge pockets though, I can fit the dx, my old d1, and an mp3 player in there comfortably....
