How to clear a error notification that wont clear

I have a Bionic running a ICS leak. I tried to download an attachment with Gmail and my internet dropped. After this the file errored out. I tried rebooting. Wont clear. Ideas anyone?

If it didn't clear after a reboot, I would try clearing data from the Gmail app.

I just tried that and the error still remains. Even tried removing the Gmail account in question. I don't know what to do now.

How about clearing Dalvik cache and system cache? Next step after that would be reset if the cache clearing didn't work

clear data/cache (or force stop) for either Download Manager or Downloads (or do both). I've had that problem before and technically those are what you want to clear since they handle downloads.
