not sure about the nes/snes ones, but the free genesis emulator allows you to play upside down just fine!

Your very welcome, its been working great for me as well. Zelda for nes is almost finished.Shady, I just want to say thank you. I've been having a blast with this!
i have the same problem i can't seem to extract files from coolroms.com. and i cant seem to dl anything from freeroms.com
Guys your problem is that you do not have ASTRO file manager installed. Get this from the market and then you can download zip files from freeroms.com - you don't even need to unzip them! Just simply download ASTRO, download a rom, and you are playing. The emulators will read the zip files, no need to waste time and clutter up your folders extracting them.

I do have ASTRO file manager installed. I can see the files I downloaded in the "downloads" folder using the ASTRO app. But when I click to extract, nothing happens. What is the file extension of the roms being downloaded? I have Super_Mario_world.7z Is that right?

Try and play the game without extracting the file. I along with others have had sucess with playing the game without unzipping them.
I downloaded crutch and astro file manager. When I click on d/l, A page with all weird letters comes up and after page loads there are no files in the d/l folder?
