I have only had my HTC Evo Shift with Sprint for about three weeks. There were no problems until yesterday when it started randomly overheating. I thought it was odd so I just turned it off. Well, it kept overheating even though it was off so I took the battery out. I put it back in to try to turn it on because I had to make a phone call, but it had run out of battery...I had not used the phone at all.
I was hoping it was a one time thing, but earlier today it did the same thing again. It was off, it overheated, and I turned it on and I could barely see the screen. I just got this new phone because I had the HTC Hero and that was the worst phone I have ever owned. Please help me out with this problem, as I like this phone, but if it keeps doing this I'm not buying a droid again.
