We make the playoffs 2 years in a row (which is like a solar and lunar eclipse in the same day) just to play the best franchise in the NHL. AZ sports are cursed...

This kid is all upset cause his dad won't let him buy a new phone. What other reason would there be that he is so upset over a phone he doesn't own.

Dude I'm probably older than you, I pay bills (that's plural btw, more than just a phone bill), in school, work hard, and a social life. All of these come before I put money on a new phone, I might of gotten carried away with my last post but ill be damned before I pay full retail price for 4G. I could careless if you flaunt your phone to whoever your friends that actually care every 3 months. What's funny is I'm making you break character and you questioning your purchase, I though I won?

I am not questioning my purchase in any way. So I bought a new phone at full price... I don't know why that bothers you so much. Would you think it was a big deal to spend 1/60th of what you made last month on a new phone? And if you want to call me a liar we could make a "big boy" wager. If you lose, as part of your loss you would agree to not come to the Thunderbolt threads again until you own one.

"flaunt my phone"? Unfortunately there is not one person I know that would want to talk with me about this stuff. Those of us that do care spend our time in places like this with others that have like interests.

However one thing I don't do is go to other phone threads that I don't own and put their phones down. Why you have such anger towards the T-Bolt I don't understand. I think that if you actually had one of these in your hands you might be surprised that you like it. Of all these Android phones I've had to date this one is my favorite. Others may have different opinions, but you can't have an opinion without having first owned it. Going into the store and playing with it for a half hour doesn't count.

+1...why do these guys care what phone you and I have? Let alone how we paid for them! Why not put some of that energy into helping someone having problems or something. I honestly think these kind of threads belong in off topic, because they really serve no purpose.

Its one thing to compare device features and point out the goods and the bads. I have seen things the dx does better than the tbolt and vice versa. There will be trade offs, htc is more open, motorola have better hardware (in my opinion) but its locked, the fruit have the best hardware and phone support but ios is boring to me, samsung is fast, slick and is a nice android device, but they do not update and I do not like touchwiz.
Basically my point is some will feel the need to wait while others buy the tbolt. The tbolt is not a flawless device but it is a solid device that does what it needs to do for the user. That is why you have a choice and to bash other people's choices is pointless. It is ok to discuss why you prefer one device over another but end the phone bashing. I believe Hook issued a warning last night so any more and I will close this thread.

Ok, well I don't make $36,000 a month, congradulations on your financial success btw, but I can bet when I am in my career I won't be spending my time on a phone forum arguing with anonymous members. Now look at my earlier post I repeatedly say the Thunderbolt is a good phone I'm just not paying that much for it when a phone already makes it obsolete, hardware wise, and immediately I get attacked by people owning. So I'm going to attack back. Now as far as me playing with it in the store isn't good enough for me to justify if a phone is good enough or not, all I can say is, really? When I got this droid I read articles looked at biased reviews and used my own judgement to realize it was a good phone, then when I went to the store and messed around with it I knew it was my next phone. I thought I wanted the thunderbolt so I did the same procedure and went to the store and walked out with my droid, especially with the phones that are about to come out

It's fine that you don't want the phone. But a phone is always obsolete the moment it is released, and there will always be something different within moments. One will go crazy trying to keep up, so it's best to find something you are happy with and then be happy. If you are happy with whichever phone you have... that is great. I am happy that you are happy.

By the time technology is actually released to the market it is always obsolete. This is a good thing because it will give us something to look forward to. For now there are many of us that are happy with the T-Bolt, and isn't that ok Jeremyclny?
