don't let the package weight fool you. I got mine warranty replacement of a Droid 2 for a Droid 1 and the weight was 1lb.

I live about 15 mins from Greensboro..which Verizon store did you go to?
The lady I called today told me my like-new Droid would be here tomorrow, after she ordered it today..

I went to the Verizon store on W. Wendover Ave

Isn't that the one that used to be an Alltel store?
All I had to to was call the corporate store in Burlington and they're shipping me a like-new.

So I ended up with a D1 instead of a D2 after being told by an employee

Called Verizon and she told me "Sorry, you should be happy you got a like new phone".
