I got a rezound yesterday

I don't know about anybody else, but I work for a Verizon indirect retailer. Htc held a training session on the rhyme, rezound and sense 3.5 and they gave away a couple of rezounds as prizes.

Drove around yesterday to all the verizon stores as well as the best buys and they all said they could not sell it until Monday. I found a reseller that just got his shipment in yesterday and apparently didn’t read his e-mails that said not to sell it until Monday.

Okay I really want this phone, but it's a money issue. How did you get it by having an upgrade? If so how much was it with the upgrade ?

Just held the mock version (didn't have any real ones yet) - HTC always does a great job at ergonomics...felt great, solid, not oversized at all.

Wife is 99% sure she is getting one on tuesday, by what she saw compared to a OG droid. I wish I would have been able to see it as well, but being in a wheel chair following surgery limits my mobility just a little bit, ugh.

Anyways, thanks for sharing OP. Now about convincing you to try a scratch test, lol.

to those that have it, how is call quality and volume? the only complaint I've seen from a couple of reviews is that the call quality and volume was subpar - which surprises me... the Bolt, Sensation, and Inc2 were all excellent in that category.

Speakerphone volume is very low. Not a dealbreaker imo, but slightly dissapointing

what about the earpiece though, when you're talking with others? that's all I really care about honestly... I rarely use the external speaker, but hate it when I have to struggle to hear someone on a normal call (like when I'm driving with lots of background noise)

That's all been satisfactory to me. I had one instance where the voice was very digitized, but mostly decent call quality.

I picked up my RAZR on Friday because my wifes phone was toast, and we needed a phone "there and now". Since we have 2 kids I couldn't be without a phone for her even if it was just a few days. So I had been curious to play w/ Android again (was a day 1 OG Droid adopter, but then switched to the iPhone in March) with hardware that wouldn't bog down when having fun and she wanted an iPhone. Gave her my 4 and picked up the RAZR.

I randomly see something about the Rezound, and just for "****s and giggles" I start reading.

Then, as usual, I end up on the forums here reading more... and I'm about 99% sure I'm going to call up my Verizon friend, and see if he can let me swap my RAZR out w/o the restocking fee so I can get a Rezound in a bit.

You ever see something about to happen and feel helpless to stop it? My feeling when I read that you are planning to trade your RAZR in for anything else.....yikes! You're already holding the phone to own! IMO....no disrespect meant.
