Go into recovery (you were in there when you applied the update), and just choose the option to wipe cache.

Hi guys, thanks for the replies No, I haven't wiped out cache, not even sure how to do it (don't laugh)

Other than the method suggested, there is also cache cleaning apps like 1 Tap Cleaner (available as free or paid). Either that or go into each app and delete the cache.

btw, Handcent is coming back too. Everything is slowly returning back to normal. It's just ..slow. Even downloading apps is slower than it used to be.

I wonder if anyone else had similar issues.
