As far as I know you don't need to be rooted to install any of the ICS leaks, all the talk should be about build .230 that came out yesterday. I don't understand the purpose of this thread. Am I missing something here?

The purpose was that the OP installed the .2233 leak from another site and was happy how well it worked on his phone, so he posted here. He didn't realize that there were links on this forum to .2233, as well as .229 and .230.
