ICS 6.16.206 Stock Blur leak

what is the general opinion on how this leak functions? I am debating the move now that a root exploit has been found.

Is there a way to disable 4G in this release? I have not been able to find the option...I see only LTE/CDMA.

So, theres a bunch of threads, and a bunch of opinions on this and the .200 leak.

I have a few questions:
1. If i install this leak, is it truly not possible to go back to the latest 2.3 moto release?
2. If I install this leak, am i still able to use safestrap? Or is that no longer necesary?

Ok, given the results of those who have installed... Is there any reasont to fear the fact that I cant go back to Gingerbread?


What i'm really hoping for is CM9, am i going to shoot myself in the foot if i install this, will i then be able to install cm9 when a good release comes out?

I thought Hashcode will or did release safestrap for ICS. The only problem is we don't know if CM9/AOKP/Gummi work off ICS since they were developed to run off GB.

Hashcode is working on a ics safestrap that will be able to be used with the leak. And he also is working on new builds of cm9 to run on the ics kernal.

Ok, so it sounds like today ill be stuck at 206 if I flash, but in the near future safestrap will be available, and cm9 in the safe system is also a possibility.

So can 206 be installed without having been on 200?

I didnt notice if anyone who installed this without having had installed 200 was able to get root.

I think I my try this out if someone can confirm that following the 200 instructions for retaining root works for 206.

Per the recomendation from the link, I was unable to change the value from 1 to 0. It says it is unable to save changes. I'm using sqlite editor 1.4.1. Tried rebooting and nothing helps. Any suggestions to get wifi tether working again?

I got it to work so i dont know it failed for u just try reinstall the app an give it root privilages again

No safe strap but regular boot strap works
