Every time i try to update my phone it gets about a third of the way done installing, according to the indicator when it fails, it then reboots. when it loads it says "Update Status, The software update failed!" i am downloading it manually from the settings menu. i have tried a factory reset and catch wipe too. Anybody have any thoughts?

Tried 3 times to download this puppy. Pretty annoying, switched to wifi and seems to be coming down ok. The OTA version kept telling me it "could not verify" or some such nonsense. Takes hours OTA.

UPDATE: Just finished for the 4th time, and said "Update could not be verified, please try again"

Anyone having this issue?

I'm not rooted or anything. Bone stock, barely any apps

ICS will NOT install on my phone. It keeps telling me the "Update could not be verified" ARGH.....:angry::frown:

Ugh, just did a reset and trying again. Hope the 5th time will be the charmer. Pretty annoying, must be me, I seem to have an antimatter effect on electronic devices. Could be from my alien abduction all those years ago
