If U could only choose 1 APP what would it be and why?

Those involved in the legal issues of what is and what isn't legal should start your own thread and let this one go back to what the OP posted about. I am guessing when the OP was asking about apps, they were asking so they could get good ideas and or help newbies. I don't think the OPs intent was to open a thread to have a legal debate.

+2 on that!!! Anyway.... how about " 1Tap Cleaner" Use it to clean the cobwebs being stored in memory and history! When things just seem to start working slow or locking up, clean house with "1TAP CLEANER"!

Kinda sounded like a sales pitch huh? Lol

Have you (or anyone) noticed any problems with running a cleaning app? I have SD Maid, and while I have used it once or twice, I worry about what it might be cleaning or deleting that it shouldn't. I'm pretty sure you can select the files that are cleaned, but as someone who is not extremely tech savvy, I don't want to arbitrarily choose files to delete. Maybe you can suggest files that you regularly delete and know are safe?

Also, although I was very much part of the legal discussion, I agree it does not belong here (hence the reference to a sent private message). I apologize to the OP for getting off-topic.

Most task killer apps only stop the app but do not delete them. If an app needs to run then it will just start back up again.

Not everyone agrees, but I find a task killer very useful for doing a one click action to shut down all my apps in case there are any I forgot to completely back out of... knowing that the ones that need to run will just start right back up again.

I also will use a task killer to kill all my apps just to see which ones are starting right back up again. Sometimes it is an app that does not need to run constantly. For those apps I can usually go into the app's settings and change something so it is not always running in the background.

Setting a task killer to automatically kill all your apps is not advisable because it drains your battery big time... causing a non-stop futile cycle of killing apps only to have many start right back up again just to kill 'em again.

1Tap Cleaner does not delete files, does not delete auto passwords, and is not a Task Killer. What it "Does" do, is Clears the "cashe"! A cashe is something that an App or Program leaves behind that's stored in memory for the purpose of faster loading of the App info. Not really a big deal since our phones are kicka$$ fast already and the info stored is minimal . Kinda similar to how "Cookies" are left behind on a Computer! Sort of! (;-P

Clearing "History" WILL delete auto passwords though. Just means you have to put in a password again next time you go into that app. Sometimes that's a good thing!

But in my experience, many, many, many times, when trying to run something, the App or Program would just Hang! And Hang! And Hang!

Then I would just run 1Tap Cleaner,... clear cache,... and the App or Program boots up instantly! Sweet!!!

I didn't mean to come of witchy with a Capital B. I know some people only made a comment here or there and didn't derail the thread... I was just trying to get it back on track.

That aside I thought of another app that has kind of been forgotten about over time but is good for a new user or an experienced user the let it slip away for awhile, and that is the Amazon Free App of the Day. Having that as your one app can lead too soooo many more apps :)
