I'm sorry people...

Probably soon since that doesn't require an unlocked bootloader, as far as I know.
Could be wrong, but I believe that is the case. The bootloader effects things that would be kernel related.

temp root is available now, so you could do it now

Nice, I'm going to do it when I get home.

Any update on the bootloader? Devs have been saying that it's locked but not encrypted, but the files to unlock it were removed from the HTC site. What do you think the turn around is for unlocking it, and now long after that will we see some roms?

someone over at rootzwiki had a screenshot and claimed they had s-off, but wasn't saying much else, so who knows...

I love how Nexus fans claim we got suckered when it's them falling for all the hype. I've done my research and picked the Rezound because neither the Nexus or Razr fit my needs or likes.

Besides, I've had two Samsung phones and have hated them both with a passion.

Sharrock is one gruff and impatient dude.

Geez. Settle down.

Really dude? I make one topic about how I can't handle my iphone any longer and I just can't wait for the Nexus anymore. There's no need to "settle down" because I've been calm and just trying to talk on here. Impatient, yeah for sure. Worked up? No.

Don't worry about it man. You made a good decision. The Rezound is a sweet phone. HTC generally makes good devices and they have a very high customer satisfaction rating (despite all the thunderbolt problems which Verizon rushed them on). I think the GNex will be a little dissapointing to people anyways when comes out. I would take the Razr or Rezound over a Samsung device any day.

The Rezound has small battery and no HDMI last years tech with this years display. How are the headphones? you may get like 80 bucks on ebay for them.

i can see that some people dont like 4.65in HD 720p displays,New OS's,vanilla Android,no bloatware,HDMI out,regular updates from Google,Face unlock,bigger Battery's,or even no shutter lag cameras.;)

The HTC rezound connects to HDMI via the mUSB/charging port. You just need a MHL to HDMI adapter. Not as ideal as having a seperate port, but it still has it.

Don't care about hdmi, but I do care about the screen, camera/video, build quality, and the Feel in Hand and it is all top notch. The Beats is just a Bonus and the headphones are nice if you like bass and more depth than regular buds

IMO the Rezound is better than the Nexus anyways. Sense is a optimized user interface. It looks good, performs well and has great features. Samsung is a very untrustworthy company that uses cheap parts for their radios, GPS, and build.

I used to not mind Sense back in the OG Incredible days, but the new iterations of it don't even remotely resemble Android IMO. Specs are great on the Rezound though, that's for sure.

Just came back from Verizon. My girl needed a new phone. We tested the Rezound, Bionic and Razr. All seemed great. Honestly though Sense has become a little laggy. The two motos were real time faster than the Rezound. We decided that the razr was the best all around (except for non removable) but only time will tell. They all had their good points. Screen can't be beat on the Rezound and the red soft keys are sweet. It seems like moto has learned their lesson and has slimmed their overlay down.
