Individual Custom Ringtones

Use an app to do it - Ringdroid, winamp, poweramp, etc... They will all work for setting the default ringtone.

Thanks Ringdroid worked, for some reason I do not get the menu the poster above me has in his screenshot, it just automatically goes to the "Android System"

Yeah, Ringdroid doesn't present that option... I don't know why some apps do and some don't.

I am talking about Settings>Sounds> Ringtone when I go there I do not get that pop up like I used to.

Oh well Ringdroid worked so w/e is happening isnt bothering me any more

Man, I have tried every trick I know of...still no dice with a custom ringtone for callers. Handcent does great for messaging tones for individual contacts though...

I even went back in with Ringfroid and edited my tones and assigned them that way...still no dice.

I love this ROM, but I really need my custom ringtones...

yeah thats a good point...if handcent can do custom tones for each contact....we should be able to find away to get the contacts ones to work.

This is a high priority bug with the dev (Kejar). Rest assured, it will get fixed.

Custom Ringtone Bug FIXED!

I've been testing a fix by the dev and the test was completely successful! Expect the fix to be posted very soon... (still some background cleanup work to be done)

I assure you the changes have nothing to do with people re-using our work. It has everything to do with fixes and cleanup. Testers are testing the new base now to assure its stability.

i am glad this is finally being worked out this will be the first rom for the dx/d2 that has this must have feature in it and not use the moto blur dialer. I honestly like the blurdialer just not the blurcontacts which i really hate since you can't look at the call log while in call.

i'd really like to have the og stock keyboard with a functional voice search key since i'm not a fan of the default gingerbread one and miss my txt dictation when i use the moto keyboard included in this rom. those two issues worked out liberty will be the perfect rom for the dx/d2.
