I think it's for getting voice dictation to show up on the keyboard.

do you have a guesstimate on the release? we looking at days, weeks, or months. (i don't ask for anything concrete just a total guess would be kind of you)

Kejar31 i just wanted to take the time out to thank you and the rummy for all the hard work you put into this rom. it truly is the best rom available for the dx/d2 and you have been keeping in contact with your users so thank you for that also. if you need a beta tester for the d2 lemme know i would be glad to do it for you.

to everyone asking about a release i am assuming its getting close since he already has people beta testing it so it should be sooner then later. patience is a virtue and the rom is wonderful as is and will soon be even better.dancedroid

I do not know how you both keep on giving us what the DX really needs. I hope you all have a real life other than this impressive ROM. This gets addicting!!!!

Thanks for the heads up on the fix for this issue...as well as any other issues the update will fix.

This is my first and last ROM on my DX...I see no other ROM for me out here at this time...awesome work all around...thanks!

The fix will be included in the next release of Liberty.. This fix ended up cascading into a lot of cleanup and base changes.

I see, thank you for the update.

My D2 kinda trips me out sometimes, one call has the assigned ringtone and the 5 minutes later its back to default...lol.

Ok...I dont know if this "fix" I just did has been mentioned/posted in here yet...we are on Page 7 now after all, and my memory sucks...I do know a "Gmail Contacs vs Phone Contacts" deal was outlined, and I may have got started from there...

So, I will just outline what I did earlier tonight...and so far, my couple of tests have worked...not to say they will continue to do so after tonight...so YMMV...

1) I went to my Gmail account on my PC...clicked Contacts

2) As expected, all my current contacts on my Phone are listed...under Phone as well as My Contacts

3) I went ahead and selected ALL contacts with the checkbox.

4) Then clicked the "Groups" button and selected only "Phone" by "deselecting" My Contacts...leaving only Phone checked.

5) Then I went back to my Droid X and synced back my contacts through the Accounts & Sync Menu in Settings...click Google and wait for the sync to finish.

6) Assign a ringtone to a contact through the Contacts menu...and then perform a "test" by having that contact call me...and it is working as of right now...

Again, i dont know if this has already been tried, successful or failed...but for me at the moment, I have custom assigned ringtones for contacts. This may be a result of checking Phone as well as My Contacts under Groups in Gmail and then re-syncing the Google account... :huh:

we are all waiting patiently for the rom update well honestly i've been refreshing the liberty d2 forum and this one once an hour for days now i just hope when 1.5 drops its for both phones at once. The wait is killing me the rom is flawless minus the custom tones and once we get the update it will be the only rom i need on my d2.

Yea i saw a review of it the other day on youtube... I was impressed of the speed it holds.. the only other downfall he said to it, which i didnt think was that big of an issue was the boot logo stays on even after reflashing... but all you had to do was go back and switch it out manually. I personally liked the theme option.. do all those themes come preloaded?
