Insane battery drain happening :(

I didnt think about doing an sbf. I think I'll do that tonight. Just hope that I still have the sbf files that I need and dont have to go through a trying to get root back fiasco.

Oh and I have tried many many times doing a full factory reset with no avail.

Anyway, I'll be sure to try doing an sbf to fix all of this nonsense that I've been dealing with for close to 2-3 months now,

Couple of things I would consider.

1) Have you tried flashing the rom using SPRecovery? I get nothing but headaches whenever I use Clockwork.

2) Are you using a 3rd party charger, or the one that came with the phone?

This just started happening to me. Battery says its at 80% 15 mins later it says its down to 20% with virtually no use other the 3 text msg

OK guys, flashing an older version using SBF damn near fixed the problem. I tested it out and I got about 30 hours without charging today/yesterday. Thanks for the tip poon!

No problem. When I first started doing this I semi-bricked my phone a lot so I got comfortable with RSD lite very quickly. You might as well wipe your battery stats too.

oK Totally a newbie here. My phone battery is dying quick - like 3 hours and it down to recharge.

In simple terms - what do I do? Just got yesterday.

I appreciate it!

Things you can do to make the most out of your battery:

Brightness down to auto, or something under 50%.
GPS: off
When at home, use Wifi, uses less juice than 3G
And then pretty much be aware of your use.

a few questions for poontab.

1. are you strictly using sprecovery for all flashing?
2. what is your average battery duration before being alerted of a recharge?
3. is it possible for you to snap a screen shot of your phones battery status?

No I use clockwork. I normally get 12-18 hours depending on how often I check my fantasy football.

My Droid is my primary music player & I have brightness set to auto with my main setcpu profile at 250-1000 with slayher's 1ghz kernel.
