Inverted apps... what's missing?

works for me, only has green as background in incoming msg atm
most else seems good besides the other screens I figure those will come later

ok, i know where that is.. tell you what.. since you wanted the app inverted... you tell me what color it's going to be and thats what everyone who d/l's this gets! Just give me a hex code.

Now that I see where that is, I know what the colors mean.... SO you know, system messages will be royal blue with white text and error messages will be a darkish red with white text.

By the way MAD.. for your D1 phone, Black&Bold is completely updated and released for PE 5.X.

I like it alot
only thing if possible on this page is the bottom right button that yellow has to go. grey would be nice to match if you can change that txt, if not maybe a darker red or maroon background. ?

Yeah that's no prob man.. its just a 9png image.. I'm not digging the grey for incoming either.. i think it needs to have a ring around it like the outgoing does as well. I toss in the next batch of xml's and edit those two images.

also thinking on the main screen its still has white in one large box, maybe make that black and use outlines on the 2 buttons on top. Not sure about the white under that section. I think I like the complete black like we been doing on all apps lately

Remember.. I don't have all the xml's back in yet.. still having you go try your hardest to get a FC after each of these updates so I know which xml is breaking this.

Latest iteration... changed the yellow button to grey (didn't see your comment til just now)... redid the chat bubbles so hopefully all of them have rings (and they dont look like crap....lol)..

just run thru all the different scrren and such and if nothing FC's, I am down to the final 12 xml's I edited and this thing can be complete when I get home this evening later. I got to looking at that whiteish grey behind your pic and where it says invidible.. decided that should have already been done. So, upon looking at the xmls, I forgot that one. I'll get it.

See if this one fixes your whiteish blue background problem or if it FC's.

test 4 and 5 now

I put them both on sdcard but I been renaming your zip's since I found that your setup.zip works on my dx so I now I have all your versions so far loaded up


4 loaded phone rebooting

no crashes but I honestly didn't see anything changed that time trying 5 now

5 crashes if I click on my picture where its still white on top
going to go back to 4 just to see if it crashes
arg. It does it on 4 or the one from post 325

ugh im going backwards..lol the one i just installed is probably going to chash left and right if that one you did crashed.

EDIT: Yep. I cannot edit the layout folder in any way on either computer using 4.8 or 4.9. Let's try signing it again, usually that makes it worse but we will see. If that doesn't work, I'll go back to 4.7 and see what happens.

its the last one I have that doesn't force close when clicking on my pic

I'm installing the 1st of two attempts using apk 4.7. If they dont work, im completely stumped until i google some ideas. Id feel ok where it is for the time being but.. go into the options screen... terrible.

Edit: Option one did not work.. trying option 2 now.. came up with a 3rd though while I was waiting. Surprisingly, I'm not really upset by this. I am looking forward to finding the answer cause I think it will help in the future. Option 2 was a no.. moving on.

I will figure it out... I almost have to know at this point.. spent too much time on it to quit...lol
