Is 3.14.605.5 the latest ICS?

Anyone have a link to the .5 leak that still works? Also anyone tried the .10 leak and can speak of how well it does/does not work?

The link I posted is the .10 leak with the step by step instructions. And it works fine.

Sent from my HTC Rezound with ICS using Droid Forums

Finally got the update to take, and I'm loving it. Everything seems to work perfectly. My only problem is I can't seem to get root working. Kind of annoying since I want to use Titanium backup to restore all my apps and data, rather than just re-install them one by one. So Any special tricks to getting root to take? I installed superuser in AmanRa which installed just fine, but I still don't have root. Please tell me it's possible...

Why is it said to put the file on the ROOT of your sd card? Is that just another way of saying not to put it in another folder on the sd card?

Please read my instructions from 1 to 10 it explains it all there. The info you seek is in #5.

What can you tell me about getting root on this release? I found a .zip file on XDA that you flash in recovery, I will try that tonight unless you have a better solution?

Finally decided to try out the ICS leak. Followed all of the instructions, held down the volume down and powered up. But it didn't start automatically. It gave me 5 options. One was fastboot, recover, reset, img crc, and something else. Now it boots up to screen, but says there's no service and then reboots after about 15 seconds. Rinse and repeat. :(

Some more observations after a full day of use
1) The .10 release seems to be rock solid, I have not had any issues with the phone at all today.
2) It may just be me, but usually by this time of the day I am down to about 48-52% of battery left, right now I am at 68%.
3) I really like the recent apps
4) I had no issues with the upgrade, followed the steps in the first part of this thread and it worked great.

Question
1) Does anyone know of a way to change how the search button works? I don't use it and would love to make it the recent apps function.

Sorry to hear that, I did it yesterday without fail. It did stop at one point and ask me to press the up button to confirm the update, did you ever get that far? Was your phone rooted, unlocked or your memory card encrypted? Did you verify the name of the file and make sure you didn't remove too many or too few characters?

I never got that far. It gave me those 5 options that I listed, that was the first thing. Not knowing what to choose, I chose fastboot. It started booting up that's when I got stuck in the loop. It was not rooted or unlocked, just stock. Memory card was not encrypted (as far as I know). Yep, it was for sure was the correct name and I put it in the root SD card.

I'm guessing my only option now is a factory reset. ><

I downloaded the file to my phone. It's on my external sd. Do I take the .zip off when I rename it?
