issues after update anyone? ??

wanna bet? i and many others are getting new phones

So how many others are getting new phones, because if that is the case, then someone in the android community will get wind of it and it will be all over the Web, and if that happens, it will mean everyone who owns a Verizon S3 should be receiving a new S3, if you and a few others are getting new phones do to a glitch in a software update, then that means that Verizon is doing an exception and disservice to the rest of the S3 owners. If what you are saying is true this would be a nightmare for Verizon, which we all know that is not the case, because you and a few others got the best of some lame tech rep, and they decided to get you off the phone by sending you a refurbished S3, does not mean the new S3 software update has destroyed millions of phones, it's not hardware related, is a software glitch which is fixable via software update.

hey i pay for cell service so if im not getting the service i paid for then its verizons job to fix the problem.

all im saying is i did everything they told me to do and it didnt fix the problem and ive seen others post saying theirs is getting replaced also. what verizon is gonna do about all other phones? no idea. i just know what they did for me and others

Wife and I are also having problems. 4g and 3g will disappear without warning. Battery life is now terrible since update.

My 4g/3g has been horrible all day. Battery life terrible. A few apps running crazy slow. Havent yet seen the camera issues others have had. Backup asst has failed every attempt since update. Will it even do me any good to complain to verizon? Does anybody have any more info on a fix coming?

That is why I went back to my CM 10.1 RC 4/JB 4.2.2 ROM, everything is smooth as butter, battery life is fantastic.

Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk 2

Called VZW yesterday. Support claimed there were no known issues. I mentioned the problems were listed in the VZW support forums. They had me full reset the phone. This made my 4g worse than the actual update.

So I just got my new phone and the update downloaded on its own?? Now it wants to install and I gotta keep putting it off. Is there anyways to delete this download from my phone?

Hate to make everyone jealous, but am i the only one thats enjoying this update? Im having no issues at all. Battery life is the same. With heavy usage, it lasts 10 hours

Just got back from Verizon store. They claimed I was the only customer to complain today. Swapped the sim card. Now my 4g is even slower. While waiting for sim to authenticate the Samsung rep came in. He acknowledged the problem. The Samsung rep also said an update is likely coming.

I checked LTE yesterday and got 22.5 Meg down and 7+Megs Up. When Cnet tested the S3, they got about half that in San Francisco. I am about 65 miles east of there and it looks like being more in the boonies is an advantage.

It seems the problem is with the WiFi, have to wake up the connection sometimes. The "Multi" screen is really Dual screens, but I can see where it will be handy. Sometimes the tab disappears, but it can be recovered by going to the display settings and click it off then back on.

Also, unless I use the internet heavily, I am able to last the day out and be around 35%. This was accomplished with the Snapdragon BatteryGuru Beta that was installed before the update. At least 5 days a week I run Pandora thru Bluetooth headphones a little over an hour every morning, not using WiFi as the guest login at my gym sucks. I have the battery app set to keep WiFi active.
