I haven't had any issued with my S3 since the update. Still loving my phone.

Called VZW yesterday. Support claimed there were no known issues. I mentioned the problems were listed in the VZW support forums. They had me full reset the phone. This made my 4g worse than the actual update.
To access multi Window just hold down the back button for the tab to reappear, and do the same for the tab to dissappear.I checked LTE yesterday and got 22.5 Meg down and 7+Megs Up. When Cnet tested the S3, they got about half that in San Francisco. I am about 65 miles east of there and it looks like being more in the boonies is an advantage.
It seems the problem is with the WiFi, have to wake up the connection sometimes. The "Multi" screen is really Dual screens, but I can see where it will be handy. Sometimes the tab disappears, but it can be recovered by going to the display settings and click it off then back on.
Also, unless I use the internet heavily, I am able to last the day out and be around 35%. This was accomplished with the Snapdragon BatteryGuru Beta that was installed before the update. At least 5 days a week I run Pandora thru Bluetooth headphones a little over an hour every morning, not using WiFi as the guest login at my gym sucks. I have the battery app set to keep WiFi active.
A simple factory reset would not have had a negative impact on your 4g... sorry.

So what made you think getting a new "refurbished" phone was going to solve the software issue, and the issue is the new radios, since it was not and is not a HARDWARE issue, getting a new "refurbished" phone is not going to solve the problem, by the way did you read my post above, there is nothing wrong with the update except the new radios. But since you are not rooted you are at the mercy of Verizon, so keep waiting for them to solve the radio problem.Got my new phone and sim card now. Still having issues not getting 4g, phone freezes switching from wifi back to cell service, horrible battery drain.. Any suggestions?

It's very easy to root the S3, just think of all the different ROM's you can run. You can also run stock Verizon Rom without all the bloat, that's what I am running now. You are in control not Verizon. It sucks :-(
