Does the battery meter on your DX read the correct amount of battery life with this battery?

I don't know if this question has been answered yet, but I would like to know before I purchase it. Thanks.

After 3 weeks of seeing out of stock on there site, and going on ebay and amazon and seeing prices of 65 dollars or more, I went down to my verizon store, and they had them in stock,53 and chance with tax.check your local store if you don't mind paying retail.

I just picked one up today at a store in Peabody, Massachusetts.

First I stopped into the Saugus store on route 1, they didn't have any but told me Peabody had 3 available. So, up the road I went to route 114 (Andover St) and, sure enough, they had them.

So, I grabbed it. I have it in the phone now charging. It had a 40% charge on it.

Also, the package still says 1930 mAh. The battery itself says 1880 mAh on it.

Bought this for my mystical soon to arrive X, the price is just too good to pass up.

To date I have the VZW leather like case with the kick stand and a gel skin w/leather horizontal, looking at the pics of the battery cover I'm sure there won't be any issues. Now I just need the phone.

One question to you folks that have this battery and of course the phone, does the phone report accurate battery levels? I've heard that some extended batteries don't report an accurate level, such as the Seidio on the D1. By the sounds of the thrilled users it does in fact report accurately, just need someone to confirm, thanks.

I read on the Seidio site, "leave on the charger for an additional 2-3 hrs after the indicator say it's fully charged"

The big question for me is, will the new Otterbox Defender case fit it (when it comes out)?

That question won't be answerable until the Otterbox is released, I guess.

Found that on ebay, says its OEM in original packaging for $5 more than VZW had it w/ free shipping. I bought one, we'll find out in a few days if it really is OEM but, the guy has 75000 positive feedback so I think it should be legit.

Found that on ebay, says its OEM in original packaging for $5 more than VZW had it w/ free shipping. I bought one, we'll find out in a few days if it really is OEM but, the guy has 75000 positive feedback so I think it should be legit.

His picture says it's an 1840 mah battery. His text says it's an 1880.
I've seen them somewhere that shows a 19xx mah battery. Believe it was on Verizon's site.
Good luck with the order ... and when it comes in .. I'd be interested if it looks like it might fit with the Otterbox Defender case.

I got the battery 2 weeks ago, it's 1880 mAh, even though the box says 1930 mAh.

YEP, what he said.

I have been nothing but happy with my extended battery (other than the fact my case wont fit with the extended battery cover and the stock battery cover will cause a "rainbow" effect on the screen when I touch it if I put it on all the way).

You are correct. I remembered it wrong because it says 1880 twice, heh.

just got mine today! Been using pretty constantly for over 2 hours and it only dropped 10% =)
