Just ordered the 1840mAh Droid X Extended Battery

Just ordered the BH6X from another site. Cost me an extra $5 and it wont be here tomorrow, but at least it was in stock plus my DX will not even be here for awhile.

can anyone post data for the extended battery usage time? more specifically the screen-on time and percentage left. too many people post "i'm at 40 hours and 30%" when that doesn't explain much. the screen is the biggest killer of battery life so if you only have the screen on for 2 hours then of course it will last 38+ hours standby. thanks

Well i believe when i had 3.5 hours use. 2.5 hours screen time and 1.5 hours game time i was around 60% but that was the most hard core i've used it

What it looks like to me is that the battery maker for Motorola made a few improvements or tweaks to get a higher capacity rating out of the BH6X. So when you go to the store, make sure you get the 1930 version, not the original version (in case any are still in stock). The change in capacity might be the reason why the extended battery has been difficult to get online or in the stores.

Are you sure it is 1930? I had heard in a different thread that the website said 1840 the box says 1930 and the actual rating printed on the battery is 1880.

Just making sure because I am picking up the extended battery today. thanks!

Droid X Extended Battery Usage Times

Got the extended battery for the Droid X 3 days ago. Fully discharged and recharged. Typical use for me is from 6am to 6pm and I've had Droid X since the day it was released and I'm always at about 30-40% by 6pm>

Day 1.
Had 47 min of phone calls
12 txt messages
17 emails
At 6pm I was at 70% battery
after some more txt and phone calls at midnight I was at 60%
THAT'S 18 HOURS AND ONLY USED 40%.

Day 2
37 min of phone calls
23 txt messages
8 emails
20min of nav with screen off and at 5:30 I have 80% battery

This battery is ridiculous. And the factory cover fit back on as though I had the factory battery. The cover that came with it made the Body Glove cover I had not stay fully snapped.

I have NON rooted Droid X running 2.2
I constantly run Lookout, Battery time, Advanced Task killer on start ups, Retro Clock and Date, Constant update weather widget, Motorola Calendar widget, missed call and have 3 push emails (google, corporate, yahoo)...62 apps installed. Did not use wifi or bluetooth either day.

Quadrant Standard (Run full benchmark) is 1456

I get a corporate discount with 9 phones so I got the BH6X (1930) and a MIFI 2200 from my verizon rep for $32 sent 2nd day air...what a freakin deal. My Droid X with the body glove cover delivered to my store was $152. These are the kind of discounts you get if you think about doing a Business Account with Verizon and get a rep who pulls serious strings.:icon_ banana:

FYI: the MIFI is awesome. Put unit inside my house and walked outside (total distance away was 45 feet) and was surfing web on iPad with decent speed.

Pictures below are of my original droid...not my X.

All right, I have no idea how to get one of these... Visiting Verizonwireless.com, it doesn't show up at all (not just out of stock), searching google nothing shows up, and visiting Motorola, nothing shows up for Droid X extended batteries. Would someone please verify that it's still being offered and post the link to both the Verizon site and public domain so I can access it? Is it possible they no longer offer it due to mass confusion about the label/battery capacity?
