There are people here to help you with any problems. Read all you can and I suggest you only freeze bloatware rather than deleting it.

Yes, when you rooting follow every method or step. if you skip some it will surely get your phone brick.

You can install apps that will only work if you're rooted. Take a look at http://www.droidforums.net/forum/droid-hacks/632-what-root-means-stop-asking.html (ignore the title). Basically you have access to all of workings of the phone.

I strongly suggest you play with your Bionic for a while in order to see what you like and dislike about it. Then think about rooting. It's much easier than in the days of the OG Droid, but people can make mistakes. If you do decide to root, if you have a problem, give as much detail as you can. If you do that, it's easier to come up with a solution.

Rooting isnt a greal deal unless you want overclock,asop roms or better then ics ..
