Kangerade 6.0.11 - Pre Release.

good idea JRUM we can mess with this one for a bit.Lets hope we can get the themed ones of the new leak before the cruise.thanks again

I tried to search for Moxier Mail in the market and it is not found.

Have to change your build.prop to ESE81 build fingerprint. It was in the 5091.. guess I'll have to change it back to ESE81 for the release.

i have been flashing roms for about 2 yrs now...and a long time ago on xda forums a dev told me to wipe 3 times (when i had my mytouch) just to be sure. i dont know why but i have always had very little problems if i do it that way. i dont like rom manager because it dont give you that option. the 2 times i used it i had issues with the roms. easy fixes though, but annoying (like the problem you had). so i always reboot into recovery, wipe all three , 3 times. (delvak, cache, and system). do a nandroid and try it that way and manually reinstall ur apps and see what happens. there is nothing like a fresh install of everything...for some reason speed is always better that way. if it doesnt work ...no harm done just restore nan backup and your back to where you are now.

I wiped 3x data, cache, & dalvik. The difference is amazing.

what is dalvik? and where do I find it? what does it remove? when I boot into recovery all I see is data and cache.

This is stock theme.. built from source using FRG01B proprietary files and gapps.. Not fully complete and I'm going to wait for a leak that should come out today to fully release it (will be a new build by then). But enjoy it while it's here.. It's fast and stable.

Testing anyone?

Apply as an update.zip in sprecovery or clockwork recovery. Feedback is appreciated.

What leak are you waiting on?

Just wondering do I need to wipe data and cache?

EDIT: Everything is fine, didn't need to wipe data (probably should have done that)
Very fast rom, and quite snappy.

I have always loved your roms jrummy, I wish you could do some cm6 remixes. When your final is out I will try it, just don't know if I can live without cm's options. If nothing else is there somewhere I can get your new goodies? (scripts, etc)

absolute systems

Look for absolute systems for kangarade it in jrummys forum area

My issue with kang is that you can't stop the screen from auto-rotating (yes, I tried the checkbox in display settings,no I don't wanna HAVE to use launcherPro)

Good work So Far

Love your work. Loaded this ROM on top of Blue Kangerade. Seems like a stable ROM.
Observations:
  • I think the battery % text is off a bit in the battery icon.
  • Some problems with SuperUser Permissions (probably fixable but I'n being lazy today)
  • Absolute System doesn't seem to work right with rm scripts (I despise facebook and remove it whenever possible)
  • Needs BASH as a shell option (please please please!!!)

I think that's it. Haven't gone outside yet to test the radio.

Keep up the good work.

its under advanced in clockwork. dalvik is like an advanced cache system and is what some people believe is what speeds up 2.2 drastically. by wiping it it gives a new rom a chance to create new cache, but it may take a little while after flashing a new rom to notice speed improvements. also by wiping it you are able to get rid of any leftovers messing up the new rom. will someone please correct me if i am wrong. i will not take any offense.

ok if not using clockwork is there another way delete these files?

im not sure ......try to look around in your bootloader for delvik......if u cant find it do a nandroid backup...install rom manager and you can install clockwork from it. i like clock work over others because i dont have to rename every rom or theme to an update.zip. it has an option to install zip from sd. i like to keep my roms organized in folder on the sd
