That actually looks pretty cool regardless of the terrible name...

I couldn't find anything in that thread or the replys that mentioned anything about the OG Droid, so I'm not sure if it'll work on my phone...was kinda hoping someone tested it

It does not work on Droid with Deprimed.

Installing the latest deprimed build on Winner's CM7 #39 caused my USB Connected notification to no longer appear. Flashing back to prior kernel in the meantime.

Installing the latest deprimed build on Winner's CM7 #39 caused my USB Connected notification to no longer appear. Flashing back to prior kernel in the meantime.

I don't think it's Prime's kernal. The big change in Build #39 of CM7 was the fixing of USB Tethering. My guess is whatever was done to fix the USB tethering, broke the USB connection to the computer.

Yeah, reprimed doesn't work either. It sucks because the stock kernel is basically unusable, it locks up all the time, can't even turn wifi on. I really hope Prime's life/luck starts taking an upward turn soon.

So i got adventurous today and frustrated with some CM7 bugs so i jumped onto PE5 and so far so good! it is very fast. No data on battery life.

Here is what did....flashsed PE5
Flashed Deprimied
Flashed Link2sd get ready file
Flashed 3072 SD card speed up
Installed ADW

Here are my issues I hope someone can point me to a fix for.
1) Linked2SD works but when i look want to know storage inside L2SD it will not read the SEXT partition (I can put data on there and the apps run fine).
2) Compcache is not working so i installed Swapper2 but I would rather have Compcache working. I think some folks here have gotten it working with Deprimed.

PE camera bug is fixed, it is fast, has some great options that CM7 does not.
Missing DSP from CM7
Missing unlock option using menu from CM7.

I will run this for a while to see how it goes.

If I've read correctly the only way to check if your compcache is working is to run the free command in SU and to see if the swap numbers are >0, is that right? Because I'm running CM7 #39 with deprimed and mine appears to be working.

I also seem to run into major problems when I leave compcache enabled and have swapper2 enabled, I'm guessing that running both is a bad idea.

Odd, I built after this tether fix was merged, and I don't have any problems with USB connection.

Its the deprimed kernel not the build. I build a fully stock build and when I would turn on wifi with the stock kernel I would get a reboot but usb worked. I flashed deprimed and wifi worked but usb doesn't.
