[KERNEL] Kernel (deprimed_test) - Break It If You Can

Deprimed is now included in the application Kernel Manager Lite/Pro. Please report any issues, I linked the Lite version.

And like that, my opinion of Kernel Manager went from meh...to my my my.

I figured it would be a good way to see what people think of the kernel since it has a rating system.

I am getting force closures during attempting to flash, jumping in the Kernel Manager chatroom to see what the issue is.

Where can I find the kernel that fixed the usb storage on ud 3.3.1? I had the same issue with ud.

You mean the latest deprimed fixed your USB storage issue on UD 3.3.1?

Deprimed does fix USB storage and USB tethering on UD 3.1.1, you quoted the answer to your question ;)

In my signature or the OP.

I just want to confirm that this kernel will take care of the USB connectivity in UD 3.3.1? I found this kernel through a Google search & I am hoping it will solve the issue. Right now I am using the Juiced 250-1gHz kernel...runs great & fast & low temp...but the USB issue is becoming a deal breaker...I have been emailing some files to my phone which helps...& I don't always have my card adapter with me...

Thank You for your help!

I have had confirmation from others USB connectivity works as intended using deprimed on UD 3.x.x

Thanks Bro...just downloaded & flashed. So far so good...I don't think being 1mHz slower will be noticeable..LOL...I am running on Bumblebee at 900/250 on a D1...is that what you suggest? How are the temps/battery life with this kernel?

Thanks again!

To be honest I just ran Quadrant and got the WORST score I have ever gotten on any kernel and I cannot connect to my WI-FI at home anymore? I know it's not just the kernel...it's a combination of the ROM & kernel together & I need to find the right match. I guess I will do without the USB for a while until the UD developer get it fixed.

Thanks

Quadrant is useless, but interesting you got low results. Try running it after running the overclock command, run it using ondemand.

Overclock command? Sorry I didn't read the whole thread so I may have missed it...thx

Quadrant is such BS. I have gotten my highest score ever on MIUI @1.2GHz of 1750 on my D1. Off the wall and not a representation of real world usage.

QUADRANT is trash. Benchmark with RLSQL. ~~~~F*c! Quadrant!~~~~

@tomsyco I experienced a similar issue but clearing bluetooth cache/data (in settings/applications) and re-pairing improved the issue significantly for me.

Off-topic rant, but I need to tell someone who can appreciate my pain. My wife has never rooted and she's out of space on her phone and it's running super slow. So she allowed me to root it. I created a nice ext3 partition, installed Winner's latest build, and set things up more or less like she was used to seeing. I even got most of her apps reinstalled. linked to the extended partition of course. I finished last night after she went to bed.

This morning she starts using the phone before I have a chance to show her anything. Out of the million possible things she could do, what does she do first? She starts moving apps to the SD card. :icon_evil: No real harm done, of course, but I was kinda ticked for a few minutes.

Back on topic, her phone is FLYING. Thanks again guys.
