Lag

Ill try changing to performance to see if that helps with the phone lag.

Edit: I had my sleep profile set to low. I raised it back to 550mhz and changed scaling profile to ondemand from powersave. No more incoming call lag!

Well, that's a known issue, I recommend not running sleep profiles under 550MHz, that will wreck your performance (e.g. waking up by sliding open the keyboard, answering calls.)

Ok, My cyan rom is running pretty slow.
I am using Helix2, and it is "in memory" in spare parts.
I dont have a lot of widgets and such on my screens. only 3 screens.
Only o/ced to 600.

What should i change?!
Its really laggy

Well, unless you assigned helix2 as launcher, it won't be in memory.
And helix2 does not like speeds under 800mhz.

Yes, I set helix as my default, so thats what youre talking about right?
Ok, Ill try upping the speeds and changing kernels

I tried a new kernel and its at 700 mhz and its still lagging. it might be helix2.
Also, my battery life is horrible.
Ive had one good day when I had an older version of cyan, but now im back to bad battery and high cell standby. I always do*228 and the airplane mode, but its not working?

I would suggest running it much, much higher. Helixlauncher has the 3D app drawer that is from a phone that runs at 1GHz. If you are not using a low voltage kernel, your battery will get destroyed.

With setcpu set to performance instead of ondemand I've gotten good results. Although I notice the phone is warmer. Ill keep an eye on my battery life

Performance forces your phone to run at maximum cpu frequency at all times, so you will have slightly increased performance at the cost of battery life.

a lot of low voltage kernels run at the same voltage all the way up to 1GHz and then gradually increase voltage up from there.
